Library Code of Conduct
- The Library at Bharathi College of Education is committed to providing a conducive environment for study, research, and academic collaboration. To ensure that all users benefit from the library's resources and services, the following code of conduct has been established:
All library users must follow established library policies and procedures, including those concerning food and drink, cell phone usage, and computer use.
Interact with library staff respectfully and courteously at all times.
Treat fellow library users with respect by maintaining a quiet environment. Avoid loud conversations, disruptive behavior, and the use of library space for non-academic or non-research activities.
Comply with announcements for exiting the building during closing times or fire alarms promptly.
Take care of library equipment, furniture, and facilities. Ensure furniture remains in its designated place.
Wear shoes and proper clothing while in the library.
Do not enter areas marked "staff only" without prior permission or an appointment.
Respect the rights of others to access library materials. Do not deliberately misplace items or delay their return.
Never leave personal items or library laptops unattended, as the library is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Smoking, lewd or obscene behavior, and sexual misconduct are strictly prohibited within the library premises.
He use, possession, or distribution of controlled substances, alcoholic beverages, or illegal drugs is forbidden.
Refrain from sleeping in the library to maintain a productive environment for all users.
Always carry and present your library ID card when requested by library staff.
Leave the library at closing time and limit your activities to authorized areas only.
Any student found violating the code of conduct will be reported to the Principal for further action.
