Library Rules and Regulations
Opening Hours
The library is open from Monday to Saturday with the following timings:
- Issue Section: 10:00AM - 5:00PM
- Reading Section: 10:00AM - 4:00PM
- The library remains closed on Sundays and all public holidays. There is a lunch break from 1:30PM to 2:00PM.
- To ensure a conducive environment for studying, the following rules must be adhered to:
- Students must carry their library membership card at all times when visiting the library.
- Silence must be maintained in the library to provide a peaceful atmosphere for everyone.
- Books are issued for a period of 15 days. Each student can borrow up to two books at a time.
- The librarian has the right to recall any issued book in case of an emergency.
- Students should check the condition of books before issuing them.
- Bags and other belongings should be left at the entrance of the library.
- Discussions are not allowed inside the library to maintain silence and order.
- Upon entering the library, students must sign the register at the entrance counter.
- Mobile phones should be switched off before entering the library.
- In case of loss or damage, a duplicate borrower card will be issued.
- If the library membership card is lost, a duplicate card can be obtained for a fee of Rs 50/-.
